A sweet lavender ring with a triple banded shank in a size 5 3/4". (Due to the wide band it will fit more like a 5 1/4".)

Lavender beach glass is also known as 'sun glass', it is a pre-1913 manufactured glass. It was intended to be clear, so the manufacturere's added mangenese to the 'recipe' to combat the batch sand from casting a sea foam shade on the bottle (think a Ball canning jar color) What they didn't realize is that the manganese oxidizes in sunlight, creating a beautiful but unintended purple hue!
